After playing my first “real” Fender Jazzmaster 1962 in a guitar store last summer I fell in love. This guitar suited my style perfectly, but is not for everyone. On the plus side this guitar produces very unique sounds.

The length of the Fender Jazzmaster 1962 chain gives this guitar a certain resonance, and the sound that is impossible to duplicate. IMHO this guitar has kind of a natural reverb thing happens; then that is probably because of the length of the chain and do all the extra vibrations, it still looks really cool! The tremolo system, while imperfect, give the guitar a “ring” is pleasant and fun sounds good without going flashy.

The Fender Jazzmaster 1962 pickups are a unique mesh of warmth, clarity, punch, twang, and bite. Through Both pickups it sounds a bit like a strat and can give you some really clear bluesy tones. Through the neck pickup it has a darker punch or twang sound that I’ve never heard on any other guitar. Finally the bridge pickup is really bright and punchy, but can be dialed down with the tone nob for more mid-range clarity.
